Sian Hughes and Sarah Jane Richards
Sian Hughes has long experience of working in Arts in Health both in hospital residencies and in producing public art commissions. Her public art work can be seen in the Liverpool Women’s Hospital; Broadgreen Hospital; Chapel Allerton Hospital, Leeds, and Caerphilly District Miners’ Hospital. She works with the Cyanotype process which she explores through installations and exhibitions. She is currently working on a collaborative residency in Ruthin Crafts Centre in September with ceramicist Sue King as part of the Helfa Gelf Art Trail.
Sarah Jane Richards work includes designing, managing and facilitating workshops, art activities, events, public art projects and murals. With an emphasis on encouraging personal artistic development and a deeper awareness of the visual arts, Sarah Jane has worked with a wide variety of groups, ages and abilities. Graduatng with a Fine Art Painting degree, Sarah Jane has produce art for designers Cath Kidston, Celia Birtwell, Orla Kiely and Laura Ashley as well as a commissioned piece for Jools Holland.
